Safeguard Martial Arts in Langley, BC is no ordinary karate martial arts self defense school. Our programs and their formats are designed to benefit the student according to age and development. No one style of self defense is effective for all students. At Safeguard, we begin with a strong foundation of traditional karate and then enhance it with self defense techniques from other martial art styles such as Judo, Aikido, Jujitsu and Grappling to ensure our students have a solid base. Our instructors are trained to teach only safe karate, martial arts and self defense methods that emphasize expectations consistent with the developmental stages of our students - from our Tots and Juniors to our active teen and adult programs.
