This isn't a post easy to write, but it's time to announce that Kooben Café will be closing our doors. We will be moving to a different location at some point but in the meantime, our doors will be closed by the end of December of this year. Starting from January, we will be taking only online orders for either pick up or Delivery.
In this last 18 months we have faced difficult challenges as Covid, Inflation, and not the best commercial environment. Added to that, the changes that are coming to Downtown Langley are pushing us out of our location as the building will be the first one to come down for the redevelopment that the area will have in the next few years.
We are more than happy that over these months, we were able to have record numbers that many startup businesses would like, 75K cupcakes sound easy, but it was the effort of such a wonderful team that we have.
We look forward to serving you online, we were about to announce our new website, and now will not just be that but will be our next home until we manage to settle our tables again to serve you again.
We thank you for all your support, we hope you will keep giving us the pleasure of serving you in this new format! We will not only have our cupcakes but will also have our Gluten Free line, Vegan line, Coffee Blends, Baked goods, and many other surprises that you will be able to get from wherever you are.
Our hearts go with other neighbor businesses that will face the same future in what will be the future of the city.
