How to Use

Your ShopLangley.com Subscription

During COVID-19

To our valued ShopLangley.com clients,

COVID-19 is changing our lives in countless ways over the next few weeks. For all of us, the priority is staying healthy and doing what we can to prevent the spread of this virus, in hopes of a return to normalcy as soon as possible.

But for all of us as small businesses, there is also a pressing economic concern. Our customers will, appropriately, be changing their shopping habits. Some of those changes will be temporary, and some might become a “new normal” over time. 

Here are some things you can do right away:
  • Post any changes to your operating hours on your ShopLangley.com profile; these will also appear on our Home page and can by syndicated to your Facebook and Twitter.
  • Post any changes you’ve made in your business to make your premises or practice safe and welcoming to consumers.
  • Post information about products you have in stock, especially if they are in-demand products your clients may be searching for.
  • Activate Online Payments so your clients can pay invoices online on your ShopLangley.com profile. In the Sell Online tab, choose the Store Settings link at the far right. Fill in your PayPal email in the first field (there’s a link next to it to help you get a PayPal account if you don’t have one). Scroll down a few fields to the Online Payments field and ensure the Hide Online Payments box is UNchecked. Go to the bottom and save your changes. A Make a Payment tab will now appear on your profile.
  • Activate the Shopping Cart for catalog items you want to sell online (you may have to make some new catalog items first). Full instructions for catalog items that will sell online are here, in our Knowledge Base.
  • Activate online gift certificates. Full instructions in our Knowledge base, here.
